  • Possible mini-event for thunderbird appreciation day???

Wanting to know if there would be enough interest in a mini-event to be held the weekend of May 16-19?
The 19th is discover dekalb county day with free admission to several of the local museums. Would put some day trip ideas together for preceding days.
Sorry for late notice, just an idea that came to mind.

Thurs May 16: arrive hotel (tbd) Columbus IN
dinner, short cruise over to “the grave in the middle of the road” historic site the back for ice cream at the Greek ice cream parlor.

Friday May 17: architectural tour Columbus IN
lunch, then cruise over to Nashville (IN) dinner in Nashville.

Saturday May 18: Leave Columbus head north to Indianapolis to visit Indiana Veterans War Memorial, Lunch(tbd) north to James Dean Museum in Fairmount IN, then to Upland IN to Ivanhoes dinner and dessert. Finish day with drive to Auburn IN.

Sunday May 19: tour Aburn Cord Duesenberg Museum, NATMUS, Early V8 - newly expanded museum

Sounds good!! We may leave early and go to Creation Museum and the Ark on our way.
We’ve put it on our calendar.
