Ken, glad to hear Mildred is doing OK. But you're going to have some challenges there my friend. I'll definitely say a little prayer for you. Please keep us posted on how you both are doing.
Having just gone through 12 chemo sessions over the past year plus 6 weeks of radiation, I don't care what the doctors day. When you get a good day and are feeling OK, pull the T-Bird out of the garage and go get a hamburger or an ice cream cone.
Yesterday, we had our monthly Thunderbirds of Las Vegas gathering. On the way home, it really dawned on me that at 10+ years, I've owned my grey T-Bird longer than any car I've ever had after buying it new in May 2003. The best part is I still feel giddy when I drive it.
I was thinking of both of you just the other day and what fun we had together in TN last year. You are right not driving or riding in the TBird is cruel and unusual punishment. Prayers for both of you will continue.
