Re: Mod vs. No Mod poll

I've modified nothing. I love it the way it was made. I have considered changing the factory stereo for an all inclusive GPS, Satellite Radio, DVD Player, etc.

You can get it at www.ipodcarpros.com/

It is the least beneficial of all the adapters that I have used.
I used one in my 2003 Murano.
I used one in my 2008 Cadillac.
I used one in my 2008 Mercedes.
They all allowed some form of next/last song from the steering wheel.

This one doesn't and it is not even a single button from the radio face to skip songs.

BUT. I will not send it back.

It plays with Best Quality, recharges the iPod that I have laying in the glove compartment, and I can adjust volume from the steering wheel.

This is the only one that I think works.

I am not thrilled, but I am happy.
I can play my Beach Boys while the fuzzy dice are swinging in the breeze, and all is right with the world.
I am tempted to get a whole new system but hate to give up originality. I still have a big 560 SEL and I put a Nocamichi in iy and love it The old Becker was a piece of junk

My ears constantly screech due to noise induced tinnitus, 24/7.

The good news, you become accustomed to the constant screech.

The bad news, once you get it, it's too late.

              Susan,

I love the wheels. Who are they made by? I never heard of Panther. Also, are they 17"?

As far as the interior,I think I would get Polo for myself, lol.

If you do a careful install/integration and stay away from the units with all the bling and flashy stuff, the switch to after market isn't too jarring. This one has Sirius, Bluetooth, and iPod with a remote puging in the glove box.

18". If I remember right, they're Panther 410c or something like that... That was the first thing I changed.

hehehe....I suggested Burberry, but none was to be found.

haha My late husband used to call my Dooney/Bourke's my 'Dumb and Beautiful' purses (yeah, I had many )... Dumb because I would I buy them, and Beautiful to get him out of trouble for calling them 'dumb'. Good memory!

Re: Mod vs. No Mod poll

I bought mine with non stock wheels, would like to eventually switch back to stock. Since my husband doesn't know how to wipe his feet before he gets into a car, I got laser cut floor and trunk mats (the trunk mat is two piece to cover the upper part of the trunk as well as the spare wheel well) in a clear waffle pattern to catch the dirt. I put custom made leopard print seat covers and headrest covers and a custom shower cap on the console armrest. I just recently found out about the side airbags, need to contact my upholsterer and have her modify the covers for that. You just can't do leather in Bakersfield in the summer unless you are fond of having your behind burned off every time you get in the car. I should have done a steering wheel cover as well, for the same above mentioned reason.
