Re: Thunder In The Ozarks - A Heartland Chapter TBN Mini-Event

Only one week left to be added to the attendee list for this event. We have some fun places to go and good places to eat lined up for the weekend. Don't miss out, because we'll miss you!

Thanks to those of you that have posted your dinner preferences for Thursday night at Crabbys. I'm really looking forward to eating there. The private room we will have should be perfect for our group.

Mike, I've put you down for the Desert Sky Blue as a show of good faith that your car will be good as new by then! Fingers crossed for you and Debbie!

I'll be driving in from Tulsa on Thursday. Any caravan groups coming through there on Thursday we could travel with?

Re: Thunder In The Ozarks - A Heartland Chapter TBN Mini-Event

Actually, I'll be in Haskell, SE of Tulsa, so could meet east of Tulsa somewhere on 412. Would the intersections of 44 and 412 or 69 and 412 would be good places?

Re: Thunder In The Ozarks - A Heartland Chapter TBN Mini-Event

Dave,

I assume the Oklahoma City group will probably be traveling along 412 at some point. You can check with Terry Wood, his name is his handle on TBN, as he is the president of Sooner Thunderbird Club, so he'll probably be the leader of that flock of birds.

There is a Love's Travel Center at the junction of 69 and 412 that would make a good meeting point. Watch out for Amish buggies when you are in that area.

Paul, your good faith has worked, but in a different manner. I just bought another DSB in Florida, got it back home today.

Two DSB's, well, I have had three Whisper Whites and two Vintage Mint Greens, but not at the same time.

That's an interesting way to deal with the problem!

Congrats Mike! Does that mean we can all start putting in orders from the "parts car DSB"?

To keep from getting this thread out of hand, refer to "possible anti theft problem" for more info.

Re: Thunder In The Ozarks - A Heartland Chapter TBN Mini-Event

Back to our regularly scheduled program .....

If we have any last minute procrastinators out there, today is our deadline for current members to commit to attending Thunder In The Ozarks. We are so looking forward to hosting everyone and we don't want anyone to miss out, but we have to wrap up the final plans with the hotel, restaurants, venues and driving routes.

Wahoo! Less than 4 weeks to go!

Re: Thunder In The Ozarks - A Heartland Chapter TBN Mini-Event

If the past few weeks are any indication we should definitely have top down weather. I know our hardtop will be coming off before the event. There are some beautiful views in the Ozarks that will definitely be hindered with the hardtop on.

I'm expecting nice, sunny days and cool evenings.
