    Everyone should experience Christmas season in NYC at least once. Marie says to make sure you go to Bryant Park to watch the ice skaters and browse the vendors. Merry Christmas!

    Take a good bite from the Big Apple. The Statue of Liberty is no doubt closed due to the government shutdown. Maybe the ferry still runs to the island. You can get a good view of the statue from Liberty State Park in NJ. Ferry service also departs from there.

    Liz and I came New York City last year in December and liked it so much we came back this year for Christmas.
