I am not in the FOG group... But, I will say I envy every one of you that is. All those memories associated with those miles..... The memory of picking up your bird at the dealer made especially for you... Don't get me wrong, I am grateful for the time I have with my car but there are times I wonder what it would have been like if I was the original owner.

I'll never forget the day I got mine. Birthday gift from my wife (yeah, she's a keeper).

Don't be jealous, some of the FOG group members still have the car because they rarely drive it. If I still had my first one it would have over 400,000 miles on it.

Received my 05 Medium Steel Blue on Nov. 16, 2004 present mileage is 102,543

From the moment Evelyn & I saw the Medium Steel Blue at the International Auto Show in Seattle we knew exactly what we wanted and as one of Ford's many slogans goes
it has been a "Smile in Every Mile"

We have been in the FOG ever since January 14, 2002, when we made a deposit on our 2002 Triple Black T-Bird over the phone.

On January 15, 2002, our salesman drove 158 miles from Shamrock Ford in Dublin CA to Fresno to get SugarBabe, and then drove her back to the showroom. That day, she picked up the T-Bird (with only 14 miles on it) and drove it back to our home in Fresno CA. SugarBabe was nervous the whole way back.

We have had it ever since, and met so many fun TBN members over the years.

We have had 68,590 miles of Fun, Fun, Fun, driving to events starting with the California Cruisin event to Santa Barbara one month after we got it. We met so many fun T-Bird people there and had a ball. We still miss Bernie Verreau and Gene Collins, original TBN members.

Then, driving to Las Vegas Thunder I/II and Thunder Fever, meeting all these fun, crazy T-Bird people.

We have thoroughly enjoyed all the TBN T-Bird events and cruises that we have attended over the years.

The FOG lifted three times at our house. The first two times was trading up a year. The third time was because of many issues.

                            Sure do miss our PCR.

Since these retro TBirds are now 14 years old at the newest, any original/first owner probably has a few years on themselves as well. That being the case also means you are probably accused of having 'moments' every now and then. The purpose of this group is to assist during those moments by allowing you to proudly respond in the affirmative when addressed with the question... "are you in some kind of fog?' You now can say.....

"Why yes! I am in a FOG (First Owners Group)"
