Why is there not a less than 20K option Spence. Yes mine is a Garage Queen if that is what you prefer to call it. But we bought the car as a toy and not a daily driver. The Bird is not practical for picking up the Grand Kids or going to dinner with friends. My wife's daily driver is a 05 Ford Five Hundred and mine is a 03 F250 Crew Cab Lariat Powerstroke. Our toy (not Garage Queen) has 6,184 miles. Every one of those miles were for enjoyment. Not for going to work or going to the store. 6,184 miles in 45 months. That comes out to an average of 137.42 miles per month. Some months are more and some are less, but every one of them is SWEET .

Our Bird is driven daily,and is still under 9k. We alternate every other day driving her,wife 34 miles a day for work and my 6 miles. Monday, Wednesday,Friday for me and Tuesday and Thursday for her. We both drive her on the weekends.Got to keep the milage down, she is still like brand new!!!!!!

I've had my '05 for 17 days, 7 of which I was out of town. So, 10 wonderful driving days so far, with 783 glorious miles added. I just love driving this car!

I was thinking... maybe we should start a new poll: Number of hours spent just standing and looking at your T-Bird, thinking "Wow... it's really mine!" Maybe it's just me...

I drive my '02 for six months and garage it for six months, which means I have had 21 "driveable months". My office is 1/2 mile from the house. I will turn 49,000 by the end of this week. I'm averaging 5 work miles and 535 fun miles a week. Maybe I'm just "squeezing it in" because of our winters....

I can think of nothing more enjoyable after work, than dropping the top and cruising up the coast during the week or going to the mountains on the weekends. I always take the back roads.....I love the way she hugs the curves and hows she just handles in general.

I think it's great we've all found a car that appeals to all of us no matter where we are in our lives. For me it's my "It's My Turn" car. For others it may be a toy or an investment or something else. One thing for sure.....we're all enjoying them for our own reasons and in our own way.

P.S. Not one problem yet!!

Oh my...I just discovered something I never knew. If you click on the vote number, you can see who voted on the poll and for what they voted for. Was anyone else aware you can do that, or am I the only one who didn't have a clue?

Sorry but I couldn't vote, the mileage selections don't go low enough. Only 8,858.3 miles logged on JWBIRD I've been away a long time we had a house fire June 29th and just got back into our home 6 months later. I got the wife and her oxygen out first then JWBIRD no harm to us or car. It's good to be back but my computer got wasted and I lost all contact data. Hi everybody

My 03 has less than 8,000 on the odometer.

Todd, don't feel sorry for us garage queen owners. Driving is fun, but sitting in daily commuting traffic, driving on snow covered, icey roads four months per year, and/or getting pelted by rocks from an 18 wheeler in front of you is not.

I know that parts of your state have some of the worst traffic in the country; however, I'm guessing that Santa Margarita isn't one of them.

Besides, as for me, I've got to get the 58 and 64 oldies going every now and then, and I have a lot of fun driving the LS8 (when my wife lets me).

I saved my last Corvette for the second owner... 30K miles in almost six years....boy, was that stupid! All that money, taxes, insurance.....never again. I bought this one to drive and am I enjoying it! I'm still riding the motorcycle that my Corvette became 18 years ago and the Bird will be the same. My kids can fight over them after I'm gone. 20 months and 40K+ wonderful miles. I'm looking forward to seeing 100K on the odometer and hearing the "I can't believe it's not brand new" comment. She's not abused, just driven.....just like Enzo said, "cars were made to be driven". Besides, at my age, what am I saving it for, the next owner? No one will love it more than me. Enjoy it. We only get to do this ride once!
