My wife sells Candles made from soy rather than paraffin and believe it or not one of the fragrances is "New Car Smell". Pretty good too.
I once was talking with a Navy Admiral that was about to take a submarine out for its maiden voyage. I said "Don't you just love the smell of a new submarine", took him a little while but he finally laughed.

The new car smell I love is the leather smell - when it's gone, Iknow the car has been used alot.

I use Turtle wax F21 on my leather,vinyl and rubber gaskets. It has a smell very close to new leather and after applying it will remain for about 2 weeks. It is not a perfect match to the new car smell but is very close. Puts a beautiful shine on black leather and has a sun and fade protectant in it. Black Bird Lou

They should manufacture a new
new car" smell that is safe... something that al of the automakers agree upon... Perhaps part leather, part wood... basically natural smells.. as opposed to plastics and rubber. Its a bit a of a psycological reaction that we have been conditioned to.. a new car HAS to smell new!!!!!
