Which Configuration Gets the Most Stares?

Does one top confirguration get you more looks than the others? I have an opinion but I will keep it to myself to see how the poll plays out ....

When I vote, I can only vote one of two ways, top down or convertible top up, we have no hard top. But when we drive the car with the top down, the windows up, the heated seats going and 50 degrees outside, you know we are going to get stares anyway. But we love it and the car. No complaints from us.

I voted for the hardtop BUT when the top is DOWN - I can see anyone that glances at the car.

I checked porthole hardtop on, but wish you had a choice of "It doesn't matter if hardtop is on or off, people love my car!". That is the vote I would have preferred to make.

I was out today for only about an hour and received two different compliments on my car. I even had a younger man come up and comment on my Borla's and tell me how "cool" they look. Ladybird never fails to draw some nice comment from someone almost every time I take her out.

I mean do we Thunderbird owners know how to pick a beautiful car or not!!

People tend to watch the Bird go by top down or hard-top - but now that my hard-top is back on, I've actually had people stop me and ask about the car. They want to know what it is, where they can get one and how much it costs. When I tell them the particulars, jaws drop, and they shake their heads as they walk (or drive) away. There's nothing like owning a Bird!

It's got to be with the hard top on. But I prefer driving with the soft top down.

I think it's with the hard top on because of the port hole window, I think they think it's a modified 55 - 57. I get "how much work did you put into that thing to get it to look like that". Or "wow nice job". With the convertible up or down they are clueless as to what kind of car they are looking at.

Top Up / Top Down: Gets stares either way, but I sure like to gloat when the top is down.
