Normally we would be asleep, but this year we will be mixing it up with an estimated 300,000 people on the Fabulous Las Vegas Strip. Have to see it up close at least one time. Watched the fireworks show last year from 7 miles away on the side of a hill and it was beautiful. Should be just awesome up close & personal.

Well after the fact -- I was up. Haven't missed one yet. This year was the easiest so far with the Giants playing the Raiders to clinch the NFC East only had to wait a half hour.

I was up with friends till 1:30AM. We all had live lobsters at around 10PM and Cheese Cake Factory Cheesecake for dessert with a strong cup of java!!

I was up to see the New Year in as is normally the case every year. The added bonus was to see who had the winning bid for the 18" wheels that Rick was conducting.

Partied with 10 of our closest friends until well after 2am. Thats what life is about, close friends, good food and good times. Just going to relax today before tackling removing the decorations tomorrow.

Celebrated New Year's starting with the running club and an Irish New Year's eve party at a local bar (5 - 8 pm covered the countdown at several locations in Europe). A little visit at another party till 10, then safely back home to the dangers of my neighborhood festivities..
