for the record, does anyone know when you are officially a senior citizen? ive heard different numbers and i want to know if i am one. please be kind!

You get your AARP card at 50 but I don't know whether that is your entry card to the senior club...

Well, I didn't "fall" into that group (age 70 to death). I marched in with head held high with a T Bird in the garage, not a Cadillac.

I guess the poll makes sense if you think about it: The 45 + year olds are the group that remembers the original Early Birds and experienced the nostalgia of those great cars when they were daily drivers.

I guess the poll makes sense if you think about it: The 45 + year olds are the group that remembers the original Early Birds and experienced the nostalgia of those great cars when they were daily drivers.

I wasn't quite a licensed driver yet, Joe, but the nostalgia part, yes. I was a "showroom dreamer", making silent vows those many years ago to eventually own and drive one of those fabulous machines. Collected Ford brochures from some of those years and read every paragraph, every word, and absorbed every picture. I cut those full and double page ads out of the magazines (Look, Life, Sat.Eve.Post, etc.). Even started a scrap book at one time.
Believe my attic still has that stuff somewhere.
Oh well,... life is good, I'm past twenty,.. and I've got my very own '03.

Hey Sally - - -You are right. I relinguish the crown to Ralph in Beverly Hills, Fla. It makes me feel so good. I have a long ways to go to catch up to him - - - and I am not in a hurry to do so. There are many happy miles between us - may it ever be so. Thanks for the 411.

Thanks to Tom for relinquishing the age crown (I think!). He doesn't mention his age ??
Never heard of the cabin filter--better check the manual as I'm probably past due on that one. Sounds like an operation only a Ford dealer should perform, right? Sorry I'm not equipped to show pictures on the Internet so can't show you my Jag. It really is gorgeous, especially after I found a new set of 1995 Jag chrome wheels for the car. The original 96 factory wheels werejust alloys and really looked crummy on such a class car.
Hope you get some nice topless driving days soon.
How did your Xmas paint job turn out on your old Bird ? I'm sure you painted it in the original stock color for re-sale value, right?

I'm enjoying my 2002 Yellowbird as much as any youngster and drive it every day and it's the 33rd convertible I've owned since high school !!
Can anyone beat that number??
