Ok, I'll chime in. I hate to admit it, but I'm 50 (that B'day hurt a bit), but I don't feel 50 and that new Bird of mine makes it feel so much better! Nice to be kidless (no grandchildren yet) and to be at a time in my life where I can enjoy a two seater!

In the age poll I counted 2 members under Thirty. I think that is great. There are a few young people that still have taste in automobiles. Some how I can't see geeting excited over a 4 door Honda Civic with a Boom Box playing Rap Music. But I Guess when we were kids we seemed as far off track, But we had much better taste in cars-back then they all had some degree of class. My son loves to take my Bird to the golf course, and his son now 11 wants me to give him the car when he is able to drive. I can't see that happening, but I will definitely get him a classic car if we can teach him to respect old cars. He likes 77 280-Z's and my 71 LTD Conv. So I think there is hope for the younger generation. I wiill be 60 in May 2006.

When I first told my son-in-law that I was buying a Thunderbird, he told me that the only people who drove thunderbirds were well fixed, old guys. I only iked the first part! OH WELL - Well Fixed is still a goal. I seem to have accomplished the latter.
