Re: Mileage on your Bird (2007)

120,000 miles and smiles, I had to put a Black Leather Bra on it to protect the nose from all highway driving, it looks so cool with the Black running lights and the Red PortholeLess Hardtop, still runs like Brand New. Thanks, Rick

Well 02Blue is @800 miles short of 45,000 miles. Jan & I have loved every minute except for theproblem. Hope to still be around at 120,000 like Rich. Looks like I still have more drivin & fun fun fun to do. I have to wait to my days off which are Wednesday/Thursday. The honey takes her to work every day. Me I drive the Cavalier.

Been driving my black 05 plenty since March. Just turned 20,000 miles. Great fun to drive, two trips to Michigan. Plan for a fall color tour in Wisconsin.
I have had the full front covers from Ford since day one. Front end still nearly perfect.

Re: Mileage on your Bird (2007)

When I bought my 04 in May of this year, I said I was only going to drive it on weekends as have two other vehicles as stated in previous posts. Had 36K when purchased on May 4th. Now have 42K. So much for the weekends. My F250, however, with a 4.7 gets 13 mi per gal and my wife would rather drive the Escape (likes to be "up high" whatever that means). Would sell the truck but live in the country and think, like most other Texans, that I need a pick em up. Oh, well, my "toy" has definitely turned out to be a daily driver. Can't say I haven't enjoyed it. Fifty two mile round trip to work each day plus joy drives with the wife on the weekends. She loves riding with the top down but doesn't care that much about driving it.

We have about 23000 on our 04. When we bought it in July 05 it had 2500, we love driving it on our special trips. We have an 02 LS with 65000 an 02 Mercury GM with 120000 and a 94 f 150 with only 108000. I drive the big car every day and my wife drives the LS daily. The bird and the truck stay in the garages most days. We had a great time at Thunder and Good Vibrations and thank all that contributed to that great weekend. Gary

Re: Mileage on your Bird (2007)

I purchased my '04 Pacific Coast Roadster (#426/992?) on March 28, 2007, in Acton, MA, with 8,183 miles on her. Added about 500 miles for the drive home to Vienna, VA, in torrential rain (hasn't seen a drop since). The previous owner averaged about 2,700 miles/year.

Just turned the corner on 11,600, yesterday. The winter months will slow me down considerably, so I suspect I'll average about 5,000 miles/year: unless we get involved in some of the TBN junkets?

We have the 2005 Inca Gold with black ink accent, chrome wheels and IG hardtop.

We purchased it new in Dec. 2005 and currently have 803 miles on the odometer.

To say the least it is pampered.

Funny, I'm getting ready to put the top on mine since the weather here is cooling off. She'll be going into hibernation in another month.
