I'm all for it! Marty, one suggestion - if there is a team that is running full time but with two drivers, ie. #8 this year, let the combination of those two drivers count as one. In otherwords, whichever one is in the #8 that week that is the score that counts, but the team has to be announced that way from the beginning of the season.21 years, 174K miles, 48 States X 2 & DC, 9 Canadian provinces, 8 European countries, 3 Caribbean Islands, 3 Hawaiian Islands, 100+ National Park locations, 150+ T-bird events, 190+ retrobird diecasts/models, 13 TOTM pics & some very special friends...THANKS TBN !Comment

You get 6 drivers this year. Click on the link below to see a listing of the teams that are in existance and plan to run a full or partial schedule.

This year you will select a car #. This was requested by Paul and to show you how 2 great minds think alike I had been considering doing that very thing. So if you want to have Mark Martin or Bill Elliot as your driver. This year whatever car number you select is your car no matter who is behind the wheel.
Also different this year is the rule that you can not have 2 drivers from the same Owner/Team. This means you can not have 2 Hendrick drivers or Roush drivers, etc.
Select 3 drivers from the top 20 finishers of 2007. Select the other 3 drivers from the rest of the finishers or the new entrants for 2008. Click on the link below to see the 2007 final standings.

The scoring rules are the same as last year. Low score wins with points awarded according to finishing order. If any of your cars fail to qualify for a race you will recieve 44 points for that car. There will be 3 segments like last year with 3 segment winners. Points will be reset to zero to begin each segment.

OH YEAH!!!
One last important rule:
If there are any females in the contest this year they may be penalized an appropriate number of points to insure they finish behind the contest organizer.
