I've had two, an '85 elan that was my first new car and had it until 2000. No way I could resist the new ones so grabbed an '02. The '85 had way more bells & whistles, but the cool factor and drivability of the '02 way surpass it.

first one was a 1961 blue (simular to desert sky blue), blue leather and lots of chrome; second one was a 1978 dark brown metalic, tan inside and the 03 MSG...to few choices on interior for the new ones,no matter what we get it is still mostly black except for the PCR.

Wow im really slow....when did you get the PSC? I knew you where thinking about it, but never realized you got it. Hows the new verses the old?

Does a 1990 Mercury Cougar LS count? That has to be one of my all time favorite cars........I could not kill that thing, I guess it really did have 9 lives!!

I loved that one, I hand built the motor in that one, put an RV cam in it with that powerglide tranny it simply melted the tires. I was originally Dark Blue, but I painted the rockers Silver and it was hot looking.


The neat car was the 69 Z28 everybody wanted that one. Only reason I sold that is I needed a new driveway ($13,000) so I sold it to pay for that (1997). I had all the fun building those cars so it was worth every minute. I've got a bad back now, so restoring cars is over. Love these Tbirds alot!!!!!

I will scan the pictures of my cars and put them in my gallery, I have to purchase more space first (maybe I'll do that now).

I have owned 6: 2-55's, 56, 57 (Have owned since '69), 69 (with suicide doors), a new 77 and an 02. The 57 and 02 are listed in the 'trust'. In 1974 I used a '55,'56 & '57 in the Manitou Springs High School homecoming parade. I was a high school principal for 20 years and always had the Birds in the homecoming parades. I still live in the community where I retired and I've already been asked to use the 02 and the 57 in the fall parade. I also have a friends' granddaughter using my 57 in her senior pictures this summer. That's the joy in owning them.
