Just signed up for the heck of it. Sent my request to join. Not sure how much I'll use it but have already found several old high school friends that aren't in Classmates.com.

Patiently waiting confirmation... patiently... toes taping... waiting... did I say patiently? LOL.

I'm sure everyone that has joined FB is enjoying your new club, Joe. But, for me personally, TBN and emails keep me well informed of my friends and family. With these and my other activities, I have no need of another T-Bird club. Thanks anyway. Have fun.

facebook is far FAR FAR from just a tbird club, the group that was started is just one tenth of a percent of what facebook is all about.

Not to sound too ignorant about this (although I am), but what does FB offer that TBN does not? They made it impossible to even see a sample page without signing up. Since I AM over 30, please forgive the confusion.

plus i host a ton of pictures there, i can also upload pictures right from my cellphone right to facebook quick and easy way to share them.

Facebook seems a lot safer than Myspace. Don't know all the ins and outs yet, but it seems no one can view your profile unless you accept them first?

yes and no, you can set it up so that you have to be on your friends list in order to see your profile OR you can set it up so that anyone can see it. make sure you have your settings set to the way you want it.

Not on facebook nor will I ever be try to keep low profile. Something to do with younger days, was not real sure about this site everyone seamed real and caring unlike fbook mspace. This is the only site I belong to and have the highest reguard for everyone here the caring and help that I have seen you give others has been simpley amazing. Remindes me of small the town I live in and you guyes should be proud.

I broke down and joined FB last night at the request of my best friend. Found the Tbird group but it said I had to be invited to join.
I'll send a PM to get an invitation.

Dot is a great way.. its a little tedious but you can limit what gets put on your wall. However its a great way for the family to stay in touch, keeps tabs and share photos... it also has a chat function...

I put in a request too. My family finally has me on it, strange how people from your high school days start showing up. I can hardly remember some of them.
