I don't think the wood would look as good on a red or tbird blue, as awesome as it would look on a MSG, PCR or Black.

    Go for it!

I like the factory trim especially on the PCR. I really think it is hard to outdo the factory on the trim.

I have been a union carpenter for forty two years, recently retired, and in my expert opinion: you know it's good when it's made with wood. LOL I have walnut burlwood in my red 02 and I love it. My bird my way is half the fun of owning a bird.

I had to go with the last choice since 'none of the above' was not an option. My preference is for the Johnny Cash look - dressed out in all black, which is what I have.

Ditto! Your car, you should do to it whatever you like.

From the beginning, the Thunderbird was advertised as a personal car. I recall someone in the Ford Thunderbird team who spoke at an event (can't remember who) that commented they enjoyed seeing what owners were doing to their cars to personnalize them (they were reading the forums). The designers left us room to do that.

I agree. Black floats mine, which was the point I was trying to make. I wouldn't impose my tastes on anyone, sometimes I don't even care for the result.

                      Hi there,

Personally, I like it the way it is too. Wood looks like it's trying to be an Old Jaguar or something and the metallic look seems too modern for a retro style car.

                      Each to their own though.

                          Hey Mart,

                          What if she's a girl ???

I guess you would give that appendage a miss!

Your post brought to mind that Jerry Lee Lewis song, ..................., yep, that's the one!

X2!...exactly!...I am really pleased my ''Titanium Burlwood'' dash kit. Since the '02's interiors are dark grey (NOT black like '03-'05's) that grey-ish wood blends real nice with the rest of the interior and also looks ok against the factory brushed aluminium pieces! I'm so used to it now, that when I look at another T-Bird without a kit, it seems to me that there's something missing!...
