It's actually an Irish proverb, Ed.

After I have it reinstalled in the new location on the car, I air it back up to 35 pounds. Never pulled any muscles doing in this fashion. Hey Mike I got some ocean front property in AZ you by chance interested? I had to read that twice!

......... I check 'em every couple of weeks and no garage is complete without a compressor. Never mind the inconvenience of have to go to a gas station just for air.....today the air generally "costs" too. I can't remember the last time I saw an air hose hanging on the wall for free use. It was probably more than 20 years ago now.

I go with pressures listed on the door jam. Yes, I imagine higher pressures will give very slight mileage improvements but if it's at the cost of wearing down the center of the tread early it seems like a bad trade besides I want to keep the extra grip you give up when you over inflate.

Conrad Tire Chain here in Cleveland is advertising on the radio everyday
that they have free air 24/7 at all their locations

Free here, too ... at a Quick Trip about a mile away from home. But also have a portable compressor for bikes and quick adjustments at home.
