    Or a 10-foot Hungarian...or a 10-foot Lithuanian...or in Sealy's case, a 10-foot Italian!

A ten-foot Italian is a sub, a grinder, or a hoagie (depends on where you come from) and has nothing to do with fruitcakes, except the reference to me. Try to stay on topic.

One does not have to be a practicioner to be an expert.

            On topic . . .

                Re: FruitCake

Got a package in the mail from our bank today. It's Christmas time so we figure another fruit cake. Before we opened it we decided that we would put it back in the mail and re-gift it to Chuck way up North. But, after reading the label on the beautiful round tin with a Christmas scene, we decided to keep it.

The tin did not contain a fruit cake, but it did contain 5 pounds of whole Cashew nuts. Sorry Chuck, this is a keeper.

Geez Charlie, I'm reading your post and was getting psyched. Was 'can't believe he's sending me one", then of course the big deflation, thanks for the thought though

I think there's only one fruitcake in existence and it keeps getting passed around.

Good theory... makes me wonder what the oldest Fruit cake is. I hear that some people hold to this FOREVER.
