Forum Runner does not recognize the codes for smilies

I don't think tapatalk does either. Makes sense since Smiley packs vary widely from forum to forum. Maybe something we see down the road.

Mostly get on TBN;
while sailing on MacBook Pro 15.
when home on HP Laptop.
and traveling around while home on Android smart phone.
The phone is okay, but I will wait until I get back home. I like the big screen and navigation is easier etc...

I like Forum Runner better but Tapatalk has more options. I downloaded both to my phone. It wasn't but 5 dollars for both.

They're very similar and I like both just fine so far, but I'd currently give the slight edge to Forum Runner. One thing that's a tough call for me is how they handle attachments. Tapatalk lets you zoom and pan hi res photos. Forum Runner doesn't do zooming yet, but when you view an attachment, it gives you thumbnails of all other attachments in the thread... touch a thumbnail to view the pic. I think that's very cool. I also like that Forum Runner offers a free version. It's read only, but it at least gives you a feel for the app before you buy.

From what I've read, the Kindle Fire runs Android. So Forum Runner or Tapatalk should work, assuming that the Fire has access to the Android Market, Amazon App Store, or otherwise lets you install apps (e.g., sideloading).
