Wow, 03ShadowBird, you must have incredible willpower. I can't stay out of mine. I'm always looking for a reason to go for a drive. I live in Illinois, and so far this winter, the weather hasn't even kept me from driving it. It was 51 degrees today and I almost took the hardtop off, but it's supposed to get really cold next week....highs in the low 20's, lows in the low teens, so I kept it on. You're missing out on a lot fun not driving it. :-)

Catbyrd was built in January of 2003, but I didn't buy it until July of 2003. It had 900+ miles when I bought it and it's just under 6,000 now.

Yea, I know its terrible. But I work all the time and commute100+ miles a day. So to save gas and commute times(2 1/2 hrs) I usually ride my motorcycles to work(1hr 10min). I also tend to be out of state alot for work. I will put more miles on it this summer.

On another wierd note when I had it in for service a few weeks ago(yes I had the oil changed(its free for life) The dealer offered me what I paid 35400.00 if I would sell the car back to them. Not really worth it to me since taxes when I bought the car where over 3k. I guess they had a customer on the lot that really wanted the MSG and since my car only had 450 miles on it at the time they could sell it to her. So I am now wondering about the whole low mileage thread again....

I didn't mean anything in a negative way, Adam. I definitely respect everyone's right to do with their car whatever makes them happy. I have an old beater I drive whenever the weather is nasty, and I am probably as anal about my car as anyone in this club. Sounds like your low mileage might be a real plus for you, if you decide to sell or trade. Unless the 05 Birds are really special, I plan on keeping my current car until I'm six feet under, so I figure I might as well enjoy it while I still can. I hope you weren't offended by what I said. I certainly didn't mean to, if I did.

I might have the fewest miles on the odometer, at least through today - only 88!!
And just last week I had 29200 miles on my old '02 Bird.

I drive mine every chance I get, thus am in the 30,000+ group. (Got the 30,000 mile service recently, $250). Unless it is snowing hard or there is ice on the roads in which case I take my wife's 4-wheel drive. It was in the 70's last week in middle Tennessee and many out with their tops down. I would have been too if I had not already put the hard top on and did not have time to lift it off.
