Important Announcement from the ThunderBirdNest Administrator and Moderators

Recently we have had some heated discussions concerning various members and administration policies here on TBN. For the most part we permitted people to speak their minds and only intervened when the language or content directly violated the terms of service. The arguments must now end.

From this point on, issues pertaining to TBN policy and practice must be taken offline. This is a privately run board and those who wish to post here must abide by its rules which are not subject to debate. The moderators and administrator reserve the right to close any topics and remove any posts which contravene this policy. Ignoring this restriction or attempting to evade it will be considered a violation of the terms of service.

We have formalized the policy concerning banning or removal of membership. Henceforth, any member who violates the TOS will be given a private warning explaining the infraction and will be asked to remove or edit the offending post. If the member fails to comply with the warning, the posting will be removed by a moderator. If the member continues to violate that rule or any other rule, they will be banned from the board indefinitely. In order to be reinstated, they must reapply for registration. Such applications will be considered individually.

Because this last policy was not in effect at the time tonyv007 was removed from TBN, we are rescinding our previous ban. As of today, Tony's membership is reinstated. He is free to resume posting, if he so chooses, as long as he abides by the TBN terms of service.

We're sorry about the divisiveness that has occurred of late. We are determined to put an end to it, even if it means enforcing the policies with a stronger hand. We hope we can all get back to the reason we came here to begin with - to have fun discussing and enjoying our Thunderbirds!

In the best interest of the general membership's peaceful enjoyment of Thunderbirdnest.com, we, the moderators and administrators of TBN are closing this thread. We are doing so in order that everyone has a chance to read the newly posted TBN guidelines and forum etiquette. Having read them, this thread is no longer relevant.

We ask that everyone acquaint themselves with these TBN guidelines and forum etiquette and govern themselves accordingly.
