Looking at the paint is like looking in the ocean, although I would have to say that the grey-green is more like the Atlantic than Pacific.
I am just thrilled! I had "buyer's remorse " the night before we traded..I was sad for the MSG. But you can't have them all (at least WE can't!) and this one looks like me when I see it. You know..makes your heart beat a little faster. Jerry and Carrie (my 16 yr old) still don't like it as well as the MSG, but that's ok. Jerry put the chrome hood scoop on it for me and today put the Neiman wheels on it. It looks really good, although I initially wanted to keep the originals on, I do like the NMs very very much and am glad they are on.
And in answer to the "work" question....are you kidding? 3 kids, 2 of which aren't done with college and TWO TBIRDS???!!! Of course I work! I expect I'll be in the OR passing gas for a few more years! Good thing I like passing gas! And I'm real good at it , too!
Thanks again for all the comments..It helped a bunch.
I can testify that this car is perfect for KarylP. TbirdTim, CaptainKen and I were given the royal treatment this afternoon by Carl Yarber at Team Ford in Marietta. We saw the PCR for ourselves. We sat in it, touched everything, opened all the doors, hood, trunk, glove box, etc., (#299), and decided it was a most acceptable model. KarylP made a good choice.
Carl is having a sale this weekend - $4,000 off of sticker price - any Thunderbird. He has 3 blacks, two reds, a silver, a merlot and the PCR. Anybody interested?
Hey with Karyl buying 3 Tbirds in 3 years we've learned all the cheap places to eat. It's not many folks that can feed a family of 4 for under $10. Anyone interested in supper??? Karyl is having Pork and beans with crackers. Yummy and I get the big piece of fat.
Hey Karyl,
I was being facetious about the job. I reckon you could probably pay for your own car.
And Jerry, you may be having that spam in the D O G H O U S E
