I have kind of a strange question, Do owners of "Classic" Thunderbirds feel that the newer versions 2002-4 are less than real T-Birds?
I'm asking this not because of any attitude I've gotten, but because of one of the motorcycles I've had. I had a 1995 Triumph Thunderbird (yes, the irony), and there are a bunch of purists on the net that say it is not a 'true' Triumph. There is also a rather large debate for the virtues of the "Hinkley" vs "Meridian" machines.
I even had one shop in Clearwater call it a Japanese Triumph.(Hinkley & Meridian are both in the UK.)
Just wondering....
I'll try to make this a poll so that you don't even have to post, lest you be afraid of the way people will take your views.
