or I plan on waiting to 06 and will buy one if they have an SC version.

I picked #4. I've done too much to my car to trade it. It's exactly how I want it (thanks to all the mods I've made), it's the only color I want, it runs like a top, it still looks brand new, it still makes me happy every time I drive it, so I see no reason to get a different one.

Ray, I agree with you about the investment (mods) and care these cars have gotten to just turn around and trade or sell them. Certainly would not recoup the $$$. However, I took 3 just in case in 06 they come out with an SC version (slim chance).

That's great! Since your the first that has responded with you have bought one you should be the first person to check number 1 in the poll above. Even though you've gone past plan to buy its OK because you are buying one.

My last convertible is 13 yrs old and my son took it, so if this one lasts 13 years the kids can fight my wife for it. I'll be dead and buried. They all are trying to stake a claim on it and I'm not even dead yet, or at least I hope not, haven't read the obit's yet today.

I recently bought a '04 Merlot because (a) I love that color and (b) the prices for a new '04 right now are vastly better than an '05.

I'm keeping my Torch Red '03. I just can't imagine another car I'd love as much. My wife is beginning to hint that maybe she'd like a bird in the future (probably an '06), so I can see us as a 2 T bird family, but my red ragtop stays....

I absolutely love my 04 Merlot. If money was not object and a pink was available, I might give it some thought. At the moment my next investment will be one of the 4 door mid-size trucks, something along the lines of the Sport Trac. Of course, I need to hit the lottery to make that happen anytime soon.
