Thx Bill for the update. I guess I just wasn't in the loop. Always wishing Greg the best and that is coming from his favorite Hyundai driver.

Well as Bill said the beat goes on, the heart hopefully. One thing I did learn from the cardiologist was that 50% of diabetics will have a silent heart attack. I'd guess that's better than having an elephant sitting on your chest! I've been here nearly two months and it rained once now it's looking like rain for this Saturday..I hope not..

Is that because nothing smells worse than a wet elephant?

Well it is almost 7 months since I originally started this post for the old renegade's surgery. Cardiologist vs surgeon. Diabetes vs. silent heart attack. VA vs Medicare Supplement. Russian surgeon vs. Florida surgeon displaced to Minnesota. One night vs 4-5 nights stay.

Well it looks like Spinal stenosis surgery is scheduled for early Monday March 26. Say a little prayer for the big kid and wish him well all over again.

                  Good advice.

Boy am I ready..or not? It's been a screw-up from the beginning. The so called heart attack was nothing more than a slightly turned heart to the left. Then on Friday I was supposed to hear from the hospital on my pre-op instructions that never called! Then, they had my surgery set for late afternoon on Monday with fasting and no Diabetes medications. I told them I'd crash before the surgery. A couple hours Later they rescheduled my arrival to 5AM tomorrow. So good luck..still cold here

Best wishes for a successful surgery and a quick recovery, Greg. Remember what I told you, use the recovery time when you get bored to learn how to post pictures. You'll be glad you did.
