  • Prayers Requested

Rick Vichich, Rosetta's sister Kathy's (Kat Bird) husband, was life flighted from Tahlequah to Tulsa today due to a severe stroke. As I write this Rick is in surgery to stop the bleed. He takes blood thinners routinely for his heart condition, so it could be trickier than some are.

Many of you have met Kathy and Rick at a few TBN events in her Inspiration Yellow 02. Whether you have been able to meet them or not, please pray for Rick, Kathy, the family and the medical personnel that are working on him.

Thanks, friends. We appreciate you all.

My thoughts are surely with him. I went through that with my wife and know how serious the condition is.

All the best - praying for a wonderful outcome for you Rick. A close friend of mine went through a similar ordeal in 2016 and enjoyed a full summer of golf this past year. Syat positive and stay strong !

Thoughts are with them. I have had two heart attacks but hope I never have a stroke.

Update - Rick came through surgery okay. They have him sedated for the night and will do a CAT Scan in the morning to see if anything else needs to be done.

So now we just pray and wait.

Rosetta and I will go pick up Shiela, Kathy & Rick's daughter, at the airport in a couple of hours. After we get her back to the hospital, we'll make the 80 minute drive home to try to get a little rest.

That’s great news on the surgery. You’ve had a rough day. Maybe you should get a room locally instead of trying to drive home. Wouldn’t want you to doze off at the wheel. I’ve been there and done that. It almost ended poorly.
