  • Ed Horton's (mtnski) Knee Replacement Surgery

Please join Rosetta and I in praying for a successful total knee replacement and rehab for our good TBN friend Ed Horton (mtnski) tomorrow morning at 10:00am (Monday 1/14/19) in Mooresville, IN. I know he will appreciate all the support he can get. Let's also pray for Diana as she begins her nursing duties shortly thereafter.

For those that don't know Ed and Diana, they have been traveling almost non-stop in their Evening Black beauty since they retired a few years ago. They spend part of the year with their son's family in California and part of the year at their daughter's in Indiana (formerly she lived in Florida), so they can have good quality time with their grandkids. They also stay at their condo in Branson, MO awhile each year and visit Breckenridge, CO in the summer as well. During our Birds in Branson event a few years ago, they hosted all of us TBNers at their condo for a very nice dinner. A few years before that we were part of the hardtop relay that moved Nicky-the-Squid's new hardtop from Utah to Massachusetts as recorded in the picture below:

Ed and Diana, we are praying for you. Hope to see you somewhere down the road later this year with new pep in your step.

Good luck with the TKR Ed. It sounds like you have a great nurse in Diana. Years ago I use to work for Stryker Instruments selling the drills, reamers, and saws that are used in the OR settings. Please pay close attention to the post op rehab exercises.

Ed and Diana, you are in our prayers. I agree completely with Michael. Those who adhere to the post-op rehabilitation regimen have the best outcomes.

I hope it all turns out well. Diana will have plenty to do for a while. We will be praying for both of you.
