Time for a Valve Job

Not the TBird, it's for me.
Testing from earlier in the week shows that my aortic valve is shot. Only option is a new one. Looks like they'll be opening the hood next week if all the scheduling works out. Please keep me and the medical staff in your prayers.

Our pastor had this done last year, Gene. He's a brand new man, now. While his recuperation time was several months, he's glad he had it done.

You'll be fine Gene and when it is all over & your back on your feet again you will be amazed in the changes in your energy level. A guy I know, he's 84 years young works out at the gym with me 3 days a week. His walking pace is difficult to keep up.

You have my thoughts & prayers. Looking forward to reading here all about your experiences, especially with your sense of humor.

Thinking of you and praying for ya. Haven't met you but know you are a friend.

87 year old Father has had this twice. The pig replacement lasted the 15 years they said it would. The mechanical will outlast him. His life has been fruitful due to the two surgeries. Sure you will be up and about for convertible season!
