Received a note from Louise today. Tom was out of surgery yesterday and is doing well. He is out of ICU and in another room. Will get more reports later today.sigpicComment

Just got off the phone with Tom and he is doing really well after 9 hours of surgery. He is in his own room ( all rooms at Hershey are private ). He expects to be at the Hershey Medical Center for about a week. They have him up walking around today. So far so good!!

Connie and I visited Tom today. He is progressing very well and looks great. He is able to take at least 5 walks each day. The doctors want him to stay at Hershey for a week or more to make sure he heals properly. He asked that I thank all of you for your kind thoughts.
