Many of you know about my wife CarolAnn and her health issues. Yesterday she lost the fight she could not win. She was at home with me and the dogs, just like we had always talked about.
She willed her body to Southwest Medical School so maybe students could put her remains to good use.
Her wish was that there be no service for her and no sadness. She wanted a party with people laughing in her honor and a party we will do towards the end of the month at her favorite backyard place.

Dave, we never met CarolAnn, but felt very much like we knew her through you. From your description and stories, she tried to enjoy life as much as she could with the cards she was dealt with her health, so a party as a celebration of her life seems very much appropriate.
