              Re: Sad News Today

Chris was cremated today. Margaret and I will be going to see Miss Mo (that's his Mum, thanks Mark, I love that reference) tomorrow. She went thru Hurricane Camile (?) and Hurricane Katerina (?) and now she is up here in our area ( 8 miles fro us on the other side of the Rez) with no kin. We will tell her that we posted on TBN and tell her about the responses.

Miss Mo is 91 years old (or to be PC 91 years young). This is a big concern of ours because she is now by herself.

How sad. He was too young. Did he have health problems?

He went to the doctor on Friday because he had a back ache and losing weight. They did blood work and was waiting on it to come back. In the mean time, they called 911 Sunday because he was feeling so bad. The hospital determined that he had cancer in his kidneys and else where. Monday he went to sleep and never woke back up.

I didn't know the gentleman but this is really sad. 67 is far too young. I love the photo of his car though; especially the continental kit on the rear.

Margaret or Charlie, how is his mother doing now?

This is very sad, and I'm so sorry to hear this. Chris was the original Mod God, and he came up with so many good ideas for our Birds. What a super nice guy.

Dot, Ms Mo (his Mother) is doing fine. She's 91 years old, but spry as ever. She planned to sell the bird and keep the Lincoln. Now she plans to sell both after she found out her insurance on the Lincoln alone would be $1,600 every six months.

Margaret talks with her at least weekly. We'll list t-bird items for sale on another thread at a later date.
