Prayers to Ray and his family. T-Birders are the best and from the many posts it is obvious she was loved and respected by many!.

Ray said arrangements hadn't been made at that time.
We last saw Ray and Debbie on Sunday, January 24th at the Country Mansion in Dwight Illinois when we had brunch together. On February 27th Ray called to say her doctors had taken her off all medication and was putting her in Hospice.
I loved my 2002 Torch Red Thunderbird and Susan and I have many happy memories of trips taken in it and all the fun we had at TBN events. For us, however, the best part of owning Illini Bird was the friends we met over the years and Ray and Debbie Reed became among our best friends and are heartbroken to know that Debbie has passed away.

This says it all and is the real reason owning our retrobird and being part of TBN has been so important to us for the last 14 years.

For those that haven't been around that long, in 2006 we had an event in Oklahoma called Heartland Thunder. At that event we raised $30,000 for the Susan G. Komen Foundation for breast cancer research. Debbie had recently been diagnosed and we had other TBN members that had been touched by the disease, either directly or through family and friends. Her and the others situations were the reason we chose SGK for our charity fund raiser.

So sad to hear this news, I first met Ray in 04 when I purchased his Tonneau covers. Since then I have had the privilege to be in the company of Debbie and Ray only three times. She was a wonderful lady and and will always be remembered as kind and friendly. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your daughters, God bless you my friend.

Ray, Sorry to hear about your wife, Debbie. My thoughts and prayers go out to you. I know what you must be going thru as my wife passed Oct 6, 2016, so I am still in the grieving process. Our 34th anniversary was yesterday.

Thank you one and all for the kind words. Debbie was in my life for 50 years and we would have celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary this July. She was a wonderful, loving, courageous, beautiful person and I miss her terribly. I'm so lucky to have had her in my life. Here's a link to the obituary:

Ray, I have gone thru the same emotions you might experience. I am no profession at this, but if you ever need someone to talk with PM me. I know one thing that my family and friends have helped me get to where I am today. AND keeping busy has got me thru many days.
