The last game of the Championship playoffs: This game should have been much better than it ended. Denton Guyer QB was badly injured at the beginning of this duel. From then on with a very untried Sub QB to fill in a State Championship game Denton offense faltered. No contest. It ended 24-0. This team Westlake I remember the battles between them and Calallen, they were great. Met in the state playoffs several times. Since then Westlake has grown into the larger school class so they do not play each other anymore in the playoffs. Westlake has sent some QBs to the College ranks and to the Pros.
