I feel like the biggest fool on this Forum.I sent a check out to purchase the port hole wings and got my check back saying they have not been around for years and years. I take responsiblity for this because I didn't look close enough at the dates.But come on who ever is running this site running this show let's get advertising from years and years and years ago removed. If your running a site run it.Monitor it.Come on get in the game.

Tommy T you have a very good point and sorry to learn of your misfortune. Also pleased to learn you figured out it was partially your mistake. I am certain that the administrators of the TBN site will step up just as soon as they get power restored to their home in Irma stricken Florida. Yes it has been a while since the hurricane and YES they still do not have power.Mike

While I understand your feelings, the other side of the coin is that as long as people mark things as sold, they serve as a good way to gauge relative value of an item. Even with a new ad, it's always, when possible, a good idea to send a PM to confirm, as well as how to pay/ship. It's this way on some other specialized sites as well. Smile, it's a blip on the radar.Life without passion is no life at all.

While you might be a little frustrated, I find your words a little harsh toward the site owners. They aren't running an auction site or retail business. They allow classifieds as a favor for members selling items, nothing more, as they do not charge a commission for the free advertising space. As such, it should be the sellers business to clean up the ads if they are no longer available or ask that they be closed if the item sells. Tommy: I agree with merlot4. I marked that thread as no longer available years ago. It is on you to read the posts. A little due diligence and you would have known these were gone. We're talking about 10 years ago at least.

I take full responsibilty for not reading the classified post better.And I do thank David for being honest and sending my check back to me uncashed.My post was done in a moment of being let down when the porthole wings I wanted didn't show up like I so wanted.The folks running this site do a very good job and I am just glad to be a member here.Forgive my lashinging out at you I meant no harm.OK so much on all that .anyone know were I can find a set of the headlight eyebrows ? And I don't mean those crazy looking eyebrows that go on the newer VW Bugs.I'm talking about the ones that hood the front headlight .the larger one of these two pictured is what I am looking for.California Customs had these but there out of stock now.And they have a crazy priced one that costs over $500.00.Any ideals would be helpful.ThanksComment

I want to thank each of you who replied to my post.My posting was indeed uncalled for .Now can someone please help me find those headlight eyebrows ?? My 03 T-Bird is coming along nicely.I am also looking for the hard tonneau top cover .California Customs has them but man I would have to mortgage our house to be able to pay that price.Comment
