55 Series Tires & Maxxis Spare

My passenger side rear tire went flat the other day. My tires are the 55 Series. I put the spare on and now I have what sounds like a rattle coming from the area. At first I thought it was something loose in the trunk. It's still there after emptying the trunk. I'm wondering if the difference in tire diameter could be causing this noise.

Any thoughts, gang?

Not a clue. It will be interesting to see if it goes away when you get the tire fixed and the spare back in the trunk.

Same here. The spare is staying on in the garage for this week. More important things to deal with at the moment.

I had 50 series tires and switched to 55 series. The diameter is nearly identical. I don't think the 50/55 issue is the problem.
