  • Kissimmee Mecum Jan 2018

When I checked Mecum.com, several entries didn't have pictures. Has that changed, haven't checked recently. The nice thing about Mecum is if you get a Bidder's Pass for $200. you can bring a guest and if you stay the week it's cheaper than general admission and you can sit in areas where you can watch the auction action better. Bond #578 and I have gone each year for about 4 years, not this year though. Enjoy, Rick and let us all know what they sell for!

Wow, it reminds me of the 1964 Porsche that belonged to the rock singer Janis Joplin.

So what color is it listed as? I wouldn't mind having a diecast version.

It started as an Evening Black, but now it just says custom paint job. It will be the first Tbird to be auctioned tomorrow on www.Mecum.com in Kissimmee.

Hope nobody in my neighbourhood buys it. I'd have to move. Man that's ugly.

Ric, sat behind Keith and Janet (KeithWY) at the first night at the big teasy. He asked how far away we were from Hubbard Ohio (20 minutes) and If I'd go look at a car. Sure, was on Ebay. Gotta think it was the same car as it was listed as MSG at 288 miles. Can there be more than one? Doubt it! Anyway the story was that it was stored (obviously) and the gent paid $22,000 for it.

That car reminds me of the Corvette " Little Egypt " from many years ago.

Tommy...I didn't realize the shields were so hard to come by. I'll bet some machine shop or a kid taking machine shop in school could knock those out in no time. You should drive over to Kissimmee on Saturday.
