Agree with Ron even though we know 84 lbs is correct. Just so crazily shaped. Always a two man job IMHO.

            To summarize....
            1. The answer to your question is 'yes'. Someone can tell you.
            2. If you next want to know how much it weighs, see post #2
            3. Posts #3, #4, & # 5 basically say ' don't ask us old guys to help if you want to do it easily and safely'.
            4. Post #6 is just a public service announcement...

I've done it by myself the last four years ... of course, having the top stored above with a powered hoist makes it easy enough even a caveman could do it. :)

It is about the weight of 2 LARGE bags, ha. It's not the weight that is the problem. It's the distribution of the weight mostly to one end. The other thing that makes it hard for Rosetta and I is our difference in height.

I removed the hardtop from Roxy shortly after I got it in August and I am not sure if I really want to put it back on. I had a neighbor help me and we didn't have that much trouble lifting it but it is awkward to handle and position in the rolling storage cart. It is covered and in the corner of the garage. Now if the snow storm we just had was routine and not every 10-15 years or so I would use it. But 5 inches of the white stuff and hardly any way to remove it other than the Sun melting it means Roxy won't be going anywhere until next week. Barb's Forester is the only way to get around for our family until Mother Nature helps out.

My top is Red like Paul's so I guess the Red paint is 1 pound heavier than the Black paint. 84 lbs. vs. 83 lbs.
