  • Anyone have a factor radio without "top down" feature?

My 2003 doesn't have the "top down" option in the menu. The numbers on radio comfirm that it's for a Tbird and not a Lincoln LS. Does anyone else not have this feature? I've worked on models that did have the feature and it appeared to only increase the bass level like crazy.

Maybe you need to enable DSB or something else in order to see it as an option

Thanks RusyFrye. I did remember that instead of the "top down" feature I have the "rear seat" feature. The sound is very thin sounding in the rear seat setting. The firmware must be for the Lincoln LS but the radio guy I talked to said that there isn't any firmware that can be changed and he said the number I gave him was for a Tbird.

Follow the instructions that Quickdraw's post leads you to for getting the volume to increase as you speed up. It should work.

btw, there is no "top down" label for changing the volume
