  • An Inca Gold resides in Oklahoma now

No, we haven't moved and No, we didn't sell ours.

A couple of weeks ago, I received an inquiry about selling mine. I replied no!, but told George about the email. Seems he had also been asked, probably by the same person. Then a little while later he tells me that he found an ad in the January issue of Hemmings. Seems there was one for sale in California. Asking price was $27K. I replied again to the email from the person who inquired and sent him a photo of the ad. Next thing I know, he emails me the next day and said he was on his way to pick it up!--- In Virginia City, NV. He brought it home over the weekend. He is in the Tulsa Thunderbird club so any members here that are members of that club, just might see it show up at a meeting. Low miles on it, 16K. btw, it was trailered to OK.

You should tell them about Thunder on the Prairie. They’re less than 50 miles from Bartlesville.

Anytime you can get 5% of something made for widespread distribution together at one time is a rare occurrence. To have the same percent of Retro birds together at one time would be 3,400 cars...

We've got almost that amount of IGs in this month's TOTM contest. All nice pictures, too.

Tell them, to pass the info on the rest of their members as well. We still have some room at the tables, just no room at the inn.

Hello to all. I am the individual who Dot referred to earlier. I just purchased an Inca Gold in Virginia City, NV. I have a Goldenrod Yellow 1955 which looks really good next to my new Inca Gold Car. Also in the garage is a 56 Fiesta Red and a 66 Arcadian Blue (and other non birds). I have been a member of Classic Thunderbird Club International and the Tulsa Classic Thunderbird Club, joining in 1971. This is my first retro bird and I was looking for something rare. I think the Inca Gold Car will really be a nice addition to my collection. I look forward to talking with many fellow enthusiasts. With regard to me bringing the new bird home on a trailer.......I was by myself so I preferred driving there to see the car and making my decision on site. I truly believe in driving my cars....I have nice cars but not garage queens.

Ron, yes it is als. o Inca Gold. Being somewhat new to this I have looked over the window sticker and the car seems to have many of the options available. I think it was build June 3rd, and stickered for $43,095

If you have the partial white interior and the seven spoke chrome wheels, yours is like mine. Mine is one of thirteen and was built on July 1st. It is the last Inca Gold ordered and next to the last one built. There are only seven other Thunderbirds ordered after mine.

No, it does not have the white inserts, the interior is all black with a Black Accent Package option. It does have the 16 Spoke Wheels. Don't know how to determine the production number (In looking at your post it seems to indicate yours is #82). Is there a listing of Inca cars build?

Quickdraw here on the site will provide you with complete build information on your car. Mine is the 82nd, or last one, ordered, but the 81st one built.
