I had a 77 MGB that had a bolted on the trunk lid luggage rack. Has anyone here ever bolted a luggage rack on their trunk lid? If so what kind of rack and where did you get it? Any pictures of your project and finished mounting would be helpful as well as any comments.

Vintage Merlot has a Corvette trunk rack on his car. Looks really sharp. Former member Ray also had a corvette rack on his car. Too bad the member galleries went away.T-Birding it's the only way to fly!

I'd bet that Roger will see this and post pictures.. Interesting thing here is that he and his navigator have two trunk lids with and without and that they can change out one for the other in less than 20 minutes.
Think the Corvette rack looks great and they should be readily available on Corvette sites or from one of the many aftermarket suppliers.Bill Coates-Canfield, Ohio

As I type Stewart is probably installing his TBC trunk rack on Baby Blue...long term loan at no cost! Boy I've had a string of good buys. A villa in Florida, a hard tonneau for under $600, and best of all a DSB with less than 30k on her !Last edited by BLACK BEAUTY; Mar 19, 2018, 02:27 PM.
