  • Home from Thunder on the Prairie

After some fun along the way at The Nut House, the Blue Whale and an ice cream stop at Braum's, we are back in the house on Aspen Drive in beautiful Tahlequah, OK.

Steve and Donna are staying with us tonight before they fly out to Vegas for a few days.

Thanks to everyone that came and helped. The success of the event depended 100% on you. See you in Tennessee in July.

What a great time in a great place, we enjoyed everything. We have stopped for the night in Clarksville, Tennessee, leaving us an easy drive home tomorrow. Thanks to Paul and Bill and all the old and new friends for making the event so enjoyable.

We were there years age with Brenda on our 66 run. Not home yet but we made it to Childersburg Al. with 8 hrs left to drive tomorrow under 600 miles, peace of cake.

Paul, Judy fell in love with her contigo cup today. It will be going with her at all future events. She says thank you very much.

Not quite home yet, made it to Albuquerque New Mexico. Maybe I’ll make it home tomorrow.

Thanks to Bill, Paul and Rosetta, Sharon and Ray for all the hard work setting up such a great “mini event”. Also thanks to all the attendees for making it another great event. TBN is definitely a special group of people.

        Thank you to you all.

Made it home safe, sound and now feeling better. Spent the afternoon cleaning bugs and road grime from the bird. She’s all pretty again-almost.
Remarkable people all brought together by a remarkable automobile. Do you think Ford envisioned this “side effect” when they built this car? It was great to see the veterans, happy and healthy, as they should be. Excited about meeting new friends and looking forward to corresponding with them soon. One can never have enough good friends.

Here’s two more photos. What a fun weekend.

A BIG THANK YOU to Paul and Bill for putting this together. It’s no wonder it sold out in less than 7 hours. You two make a great team!

Jeannie and I just got home. The old girl worked perfectly, (and so did the car). We took back roads all the way. Terrific drive home.

Great time, great friends as usual. Thanks to Paul and Bill for their hard work. Everything went flawlessly as usual.
Unbelivable TBN trips including ALL of the lower 48 States plus 9 Canadian Provinces, 8 European Countries, 3 Caribbean Countries, Countless National Parks and have attended well over 100 TBN Events since 2001 and counting. Best of all ... fabulous friends.

Louise and I just got home. We spent last night in Terre Haute, IN. and finished the trip today.
We had a fantastic time and really enjoyed the fellowship of our TBN family.
Paul and Bill did a great job putting this event together. (I guess Rosetta did a little too)
Staying in the Historic Price Tower was such a great experience and exploring Oklahoma made the trip very enjoyable.
Look forward to seeing everyone in Tennessee come July.

A huge thank you to Paul, Rosetta and Bill for a Frank Lloyd Wright fantasy weekend. Loved the hotel and will never stay in Motel 6 again.

Bonnie, Toni, Lou, Bill and I drove Bentonville to Crystal Bridges and toured Wright's Bachman-Wilson house that was dismantled and moved there from New Jersey. Staying in regular hotel last night was a real dose of reality.

We returned home around 4pm Monday. Think maybe I found the cause of noise that has been driving us crazy. Am putting car on lift tomorrow.
