  • Sharing our experiences with vendors is forbidden?

My God, if we can't even discuss our experiences, good and bad, with vendors what good is this site???

Boy, I don't see ANYTHING in the Terms of Service that would explain why that thread was closed.

Harry if memory serves, we had a thread several years ago where we could rave but not RANT about dealers/vendors that "done good" but not the opposite! Bet you we both know who closed the thread.

Harry, I share your exact thoughts, however, it's really pretty elementary to understand why the thread was closed.

        I've got mixed feelings here.

In my gut I will always think of who ratted out Thunderbird Concepts with Ford leading to their demise.

I would think admin/owners would worry about a defamation type nuisance lawsuit from certain individuals being criticized harshly/constantly.

We all have thoughts on this subject based on personal experience and also members feedback.

Bill this makes the 3 or 4th time I have seen reference to someone dumping TC in the grease, do you have any kind of a link to a source? Not doubting you just would like to read what actually happened..

Ford wouldn't publish the event, or the source, of punitive actions toward a vendor. You might ask DavidA about being ratted out, by the same individual I believe.
And to Bills concern of a defamation lawsuit I've lost count of how many times LaPhill has personally threatened ME with a lawsuit.
And to RIc's comment that the reason for closing the thread was elementary - it may be apparent to a LaPhil fanboy, but not apparent to me.

And after that last post, I probably better get another beer, too!

And now that post has been deleted - hmmm, by the originator or someone else?

Every auto related group I have ever been around for the past 55 years has had issues with " con men " snakes, double dealers,,, you name it. It just seems to be an unpleasant common thing. For me the only dangerous snake is the one you don't see.

This site does do some editing, but it's their ball so they make the rules. O K by me.

Hey Spence. Remember when you stepped over the guard rail in Colorado and were near a rattlesnake. You could see it, but I'm guessing it was still dangerous.
