  • Magnaflow mufflers

Several days ago I took the car to the muffler shop to have them install Magnaflow mufflers .I've included several pics . Install was pretty straightforward with the shop cutting the pipes , bending a short connector pipe for the inlet side and welding a 3" tip to the outlet . .Disassembly and install took about and hour and everything was done in SS .The mufflers I used are 4" X 18" round , 1- 1/4 " Magnaflow SS . This a straight thru muffler that has increased the sound level quite a bit . Lots of sound at idle and part throttle but mellow out at cruising throttle . I've driven the car top up and top down [ soft top ] without an objectionable rumble or drone at highway speeds , so we'll see how we like it once we hit the mountains and need to be on the throttle . If we don't like the sound plan B is a set of Flowmaster 40's in SS .

Test it in a tunnel.....get on it a little...I also removed the resonators replacing them with SS pipe..sounds good. Now, Baby Blue is all stock...

You should see 2 blue boxes. One for Quote and one for Like.

I only have quote on the latest activity and also the posts option.

I agree, Bill...I've never seen a link on any post for "like" after this upgrade, and I guess no one else has either because if you look at all the posts, there are no "likes" listed on any of them.

When I read your post earlier I was a bit confused and thought maybe I was missing something. I guess not as nobody else see's a like button either. See attached photo.

I have a PM out to Kevin to look into this. I know everyone had this before the upgrade.

Spence, I do remember seeing a 'like' button on the site. But haven't seen it for a few months. Was it lost in an 'upgrade'?

It is on all the Admins and Mods screens. It is not on the members screens.

Like I said, I have a message into Kevin to take a look at this.

Here's what Kevin had to say about the Like button early on:

                              http://www.thunderbirdnest.com/forum...25#post1002825

I think he removed it from the members' screens pending a decision from the owners about using it.

I just wish everyone would post pictures as an image instead of an attachment. If they follow the instructions in the first post of the Thunderbird Picture Challenge III thread it only takes a hair longer than attaching them, which doesn't show up in latest activities mode.
