Vintage Mint Green, mmmmm My wife Barb's favorite Tbird Color. My first car was a Red Chrysler Convertible back in 1958 so my favorite color is now a Torch Red Tbird. Although I like every color almost as much! Welcome to the NEST!

I knew I remembered that 612 number from somewhere:

      http://portholeauthority.com/thenewt...2004tbird.html

But ..... I have no idea which number is correct. All I know is that at just over 600 made they are pretty rare birds.

How many VMG are TBN members? Please check in if your willing... I already know about 4LOWBIRDS+8 (TN) and 04MintinPortAngeles (WA) Just curious...

P.S. Just heard from my mechanic, undercarriage immaculate but lots of dry rotted parts in the suspension. He is doing a lot of work for me so I can travel this weekend. About a $3,000 bill including repairing leaky valve cover gaskets. Transmission still good but gives a kick now and then...probably will need a rebuild in the future. Knew it was going to cost me to get her back in shape! Ah well, a work in progress as expected. Did not even get to the fun stuff yet

Unless you are hearing lots of clunking sounds from your suspension, I would say leave everything alone. Lots of boots/covers are bad but parts are still working.

Figured as much. However, I want to install some whitewalls and really don't want the tires to wear unevenly. Replacing the tie rods and bearings that are needed for alignment purposes.

Congratulations, Lynne. This has been a long awaited event for you to finally take delivery of your very own VMG! We also have a VMG. There is one in the San Francisco area, but he hasn't posted in a long time. I know of one in the Titusville, FL area, one in Brooksville, FL, one in Chiefland, FL (non TBN member), and one not too far from Atlanta, GA, not to mention one in TN. Perhaps each of those I mentioned will check in and hopefully more. There are several TBN members with Mint Green Birds.

Lynne- The two Thunderbird colors that fell into the pastel group were the mint green and desert shy blue..or often called robins egg blue

I have so many busted boots and no alignment problems. I replace any component that makes a noise.

That's right... Birdlover (I knew that). Sorry, I didn't list you from the start. Greetings to Rays 007 #15 in Woodstock GA! Wow, there sure are a lot of TBirds in general in FL. Literally a hot spot for the car. Well, thanks to all who responded. BLACK BEAUTY : Saw the Robin's egg in person and it sure is pretty. I am also a big fan of the Thunderbird Blue but let's face it... a retrobird in any color is a looker. We all have our favorites but my head turns at ANY retrobird sighting

@ 4LOWBIRDS+8: Thanks for the reassurance that the car won't fall apart on me.

                          Same here.
But they talk to me at grocery store parking lots and say what a beautiful car it is.

Gene, the NM only had 200, unless you're referring to pastels only.

That is also one of my 4LOWBIRDS, but you need to include the Satin Silver top.
