Wipers wipe intermittently after using turning signal.

That may be a new one Susan. My Baby Blue's wipers squeak, but that may be due to lack of use

May be due to you living in CA - - where it only rains "intermittently"

I would guess you have the intermittently switch in the on position, worth checking.

Well we fiddle with the wiper switch to get the wipers to shut off but they still wipe occasionally after signaling a turn. Crazy but seems to happen with left turns.

If that's the case I would say a bad control/switch.

If you are having to turn them off after the turn, then your motion of using the turn signal may be swiping the wiper switch to on. I have done that.

It sounds like you may be touching the windshield washer button (which is located in the end of the turn signal lever). This will cause the wipers to start and stop.

I experienced this exact same thing this morning in my Taurus... when you turn on left signal you are ever so slightly turning the wiper knob. To prove this, next time you turn on left turn signal grasp the stalk next to the steering column so you avoid touching the rotating wiper knob.

We've had the car 4 yrs so it's strange to have this happening now. Maybe the wiper switch is loose or something.

Probably has something to do with living on the left coast.

Thanks guys, thought it was just me. Don't think there is a thing wrong with the car or specifically the switch. An ID 10t driver problem in my case.
