Bill, that looks great! I actually bought one of those stick on's about 6 months ago from Ebay and after reading all the negative comments have not used it. Considering wrapping it chrome but haven't worked up the energy yet.

One reason ----- COST PROHIBITED.---- Plating on plastic is a special process. In some cases it is called vacuum metalizing. Set up to do one piece can be very costly if a shop would even bother to take it on. As with many car subjects I can see there being much debate on this site 20 years down the road on what's original from Ford and whats not. Apparently Tbird concepts offered 2 styles on the Hood scoops. Where is Dennis Carpenter when you need him ?
