Making some basic measurements to confirm and assuming Foose kept the wheel opening diameter the same (30"), the forward belt line edge to the tip of the nose above the SB grille is 30". Stock measurement is 20".

As someone said, it's not an easy do-it-yourself project.

My measurements were accurate, but the text was not. Foos did not add anything to the upper nose area. Both the Speed Bird and stock 'Bird measures 20" (not 30") from wheel opening to nose tip.

It appears that Foose took the lens off the stock headlight, then added the VW lens. The VW lens detaches from the housing via four retainer tabs.Last edited by Bobnoir1; Jul 5, 2020, 11:51 AM.
