      • Thank you...

The next challenge will be to post a photo of something that peaked your interest as you travelled to/from an event (TBird not required in the photo). My silly examples are all from the Black Hills Adventure. Many of you may have noticed that giant bull head sculpture around Montrose, S.D. Or perhaps you ventured off the highway and saw this cow enjoying a cooling dip on a hot day. Last, but not least, Carhenge.

        Enjoy!

            • Worlds largest easel in Goodland, KS. It's 80 feet tall, and atop it rests a 32x24-foot representation of one of Van Gogh's "Sunflower" paintings. It's about a half-mile off of I-70, along Hwy 24 near the center of town.

Kansas is the "Sunflower State," and Goodland is at the center of the local sunflower industry, so it makes sense. Cars below are mine and the former Blackbird of Lou/Toni on our way to Pikes Peak.

Yes, but it’s not going to survive the next Kansas tornado.
