Eight COPS and plugs, Fought through a re-built tranny issue and had all suspension pieces parts front and back replaced. Plus a couple of other smaller issues (well over the $100 deductible.) Sure worked out for me! If I could sell the Grey Ghost and find an insurable 2005, I'd go again. Currently a self insurable program-- $50 in the box each month is working o.k.
You are correct, It's a crap shoot. Wish you continued good luck..Bill Coates-Canfield, Ohio

Car was inspected on Friday - it checked out perfect (inspector noted it was in great shape). Just talked with Emmaand my application was approved by Ford with an effective date of contract of 2/8/19. Documents being mailed to me this week. So, we're covered for the next 5 years/48K on the Premium ESP with 1st-day rental option.
Thanks to Bill, Cal, Paul and Sandy + everyone who helped make me aware of this protection for my "new" 05.

You fill out the online form, putting in your state, year, make and model. It then takes you to the next screen where you enter your mileage and a couple other pieces of information, after which you enter your name and contact info. They then send you a code (discount code), and THEN you get the quote (which no doubt has the mileage factored into their price to you).
In my conversation with Emma, she said it was a good thing I did for the 5-year plan as this would probably be the last year 2005's were offered access to the plan.

Bill, .I have been in contact with Lombard Ford to purchase another ESP on my 05. The car has more than 100K miles on it. The 100K is the top stop for being able to get the Premium Level. I given 2 choices in it's place. They are the Base Care which covers 84 components and the Extra Care which covers 113 components.
The Extra Care coverage 24months/24K miles right now priced at $1599 & Base Care is at $1029. Both plans have $100.00 deductible.
24month/24K miles is all that is offered if mileage is greater than 100K.
